Patent attorney Markus Kreuzberg has more than 20 years of experience in patent and utility model law and extensive expertise in international intellectual property law. His other areas of expertise include employee invention law, trademark law, and design protection.

He represents clients before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the Federal Patent Court (BPatG), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Before training as a patent attorney, he worked for several years as an engineer in the metalworking industry, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of new production processes. As an environmental engineer, he also gained experience in putting complex legal requirements into practice.

Main focus

Advising and representing German and international clients in the field of intellectual property law, in particular in obtaining, defending, and enforcing technical property rights and in building up property rights portfolios
